Religious Order: Politics
So, the 400 richest Americans have seen their taxes cut in half over the past decade. And Republicans would rather have the country in default than actually raise those taxes.
And, every time I hear about the 400 richest Americans,
I wonder if those 400 are worried about this:
- There are approximately 311,769,418 people in the US.
- 311,769,018 are poorer than the 400 richest.
- That means there are 779,422 poorer people for each of the 400 richest.
- That means that just one out of every 779,422 Americans needs to decide that we would all be better off with those 400 dead, to the point of disregard for personal safety, for those 400 to be dead.
- Keeping in mind that, with the current economy, lots of folks don't really have a lot to lose.
If I were one of those 400, this would keep me awake at night.

I think about that a lot. Too much in fact. Way. Way too much.
Going to polish my guns now whilst looking for a job.

I'm sure you're not the only one.
Just how far do they think they can push people? How close to being serfs do people have to get before they say "Hey, y'know what? Fuck it!"
